I bake a darn good peanut butter cookie if I do say so myself.

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt & a whole lotta looooooove.

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Beat together the butter and peanut butter and then mix in both of the sugars.
3. In a seperate bowl sift the salt, baking powder, and flour together.
4. Gradually mix the flour into the sugar butter mixture.
5. Beat in the eggs.
6. Form the dough into balls and roll them around in a whole lotta love. Then use a fork to flatten the cookies with a criss-cross pattern.
7. Pop your cookies into the oven to bake for 12 – 13 minutes.
8. Enjoy cookie(s) with a glass of soy milk!

When I was in elementary school I went on a field trip to this fair with numerous activity booths. There were a bunch of cute little arts & crafts but I remember I was most excited by the freebies I scooped up including (!!) 3 missing people identification kits. You know those kits where you record your distinguishing physical features, fingerprints, etc. That night I filled out all 3 of those kits. I remember my Mom made a comment like, “Wow! You filled out all 3! Shen-Shen (my sister) doesn’t even have one.” She didn’t mean it in a scathing way but it still made me feel guilty.

I’ve always been fascinated by finger prints, palm reading, and the like. Over the summer my sister and I poured over this one palm reading book at Barnes and Nobles. Turns out I have a girdle of venus on my right hand. I forget the details but I have an inkling that it supposedly means I will encounter love problems later on in life.

In my opinion the lines on my left hand have a better aesthetic appearance than the lines on my right hand. I love how both of my ring fingers have whorled patterns & how these two fingerpads are especially rounded.

p.s. I have five ulnar loops, two radial loops, and three whorls.

Junior prom was last night! It was most excellent. & We made our reservations this time! My only regret is neglecting to hit up that chocolate fondue fountain + the assorted petit fours/coooookies. Everything else – the rushed getting ready, the GIGANTIC group, the crashers of the getting ready party at my house, the interpretive dancing …

Whenever I shower I also participate in a combination of the following: ponder life’s burning questions, study off of the study materials taped to the dry side of my shower door, or worry about how fucking scared I would be if I were in a room without windows and the power happened to go out (for example if there were to be a power outage while I’m showering).

I, of course, also wash every body part with soap including all my major crevices including in between my toes and in my belly button which I never used to do before but sort of enjoy. I then wash my hair with adult formula shampoo and use cream rinse for that just-washed shine.

Factoid #1: I have watched Home Alone one too many times.
Factoid #2: I have seriously considered installing emergency lights in the bathrooms of my future house so that I will not have to worry about being caught in complete darkness. I have also considered installing a laundry chute so that I would not have to lug my laundry basket around. Oh! I have also considered a panic room stocked with non perishables like saltine crackers and (low sodium!) canned soup.
Factoid #3: When lathering up I always start with the right side of my body. Usually my right leg. Sometimes if I feel like it I’ll even shave although I must admit I am a terrible shaver.
